I have 16 years of teaching experience. I have taught grades 4-8 at some point in my career, however, most time has been spent in a 4th or 5th grade classroom. I have a Masters Degree in Education and have obtained a reading specialist license recently so that I am able to work with students in Pre-K-12th grade with their reading skills.

This nine week spelling packet includes a number of activities that can be used in a variety of ways. This resource is made to cover the first quarter of the school year, but can be used any time throughout the year. Cooperative learning and movement are at the core of my teaching style. Working together and getting them up out of their seats, I feel, is essential to their success.
