This was a great project for the end of the year. It helped students understand inheritance and alleles while creating their own superheroes. My 8th graders loved it and I think it would be good for 6th-8th.

It's not too late for a candy corn experiment! I did this with 4th graders with ease. Uses few materials and is adaptable for ages 7-13.
