Put the different modes of transportation around the room (each has a teen number) Children use the sheet to find the type of transportation, read the number, write the number, decompose the number and fill in the double ten frames for the number
Drag the correct number of owls to each tree. Then count the total number of owls. Type the total in the box. This is the using the terminology ___ and ___ is___, not using the addition or equals symbols.
These are picture cards (4 per sheet) that can be printed and laminated. There are 2-7 pictures per letter. I use them for matching beginning sounds, rhyming words, writing CVC words, categorizing (for example, I display several related pictures and ask students to tell me what the pictures have in common. I also display a set of pictures with one that doesn't belong and ask what doesn't fit and why). There are lots of possibilities. The last page is a list of all the pictures. I taped the

This is a simple little activity to sort animals by whether they are night animals or day animals. We used it with our online kindergarten students after reading a nonfiction book about nocturnal animals.
