Experience

Welcome to my store! With over 17 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, I am dedicated to supporting students on the autism spectrum, English language learners, and those with mild to severe disabilities. My resources are designed to help teachers save valuable time in prepping and meet the diverse needs of their students. They are student-friendly, differentiated, research-based, and aligned with the Common Core State Standards to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive, and a teacher has a chance to breathe. Teaching style

Student Centered, Therapeutic, Participatory, and Collaborative. I used the TEACCH approach and methodology to teach my students on the spectrum (self-contained classroom). This approach focuses on the "culture of autism" and is based on cognitive-social learning theory. A core value in this approach is appreciating and valuing the unique strengths in every child.

My own education history

Master of Arts Degree from Teachers College/Columbia University in Social and Organizational Psychology from the State of New York. Master of Science Degree in Education with a dual certification in Elementary Education from Hunter College from the state of New York.
