I use these as beginner cards because I teach kids to find discounts mentally (find 10%, double it for 20%, triple it for 20%, etc). As they first start to apply the skill, I give them all discounts that are multiples of 10% (mainly 20%) and prices that work fairly easily without the need of a calculator.
