Group project to do when you have finished covering systems of equations. Students work in groups to create their own optimization problem to solve. This includes a presentation component and reflection at the end.

Can be used as the first homework assignment or as review before a test.

Short 5 minutes or less problems to get class started. These for a Statistics unit. Problems cover basics: mean, median, mode, range, histogram, box & whiskers, standard deviation, normal distribution. Originally designed for a freshman/sophomore level class.

Students look at the given equations and decide if the statement is true or false. This is a review of different exponential rules. If the statement is false students need to fix the equation to make it true. Also can be used as an assessment.

Mixed review of the exponential laws plus one exponential application.

Introduce students to geometry vocabulary before you start your unit. Includes spaces for the definitions, picture examples, and the math shorthand symbols.

Partner assignment Student creates multiple transformations, then shares with partner. Then partner tries to guess what transformations occurred. Great to use for reviewing.

Students practice graphing inequalities, find the corner points of the feasible region, then figure out which vertex creates a maximum or minimum.
