I've been in 3rd grade for 8 years and absolutely love it! I have worked with at risk students for most of my career, and have loved showing them that learning is fun!
A GREAT activity to help students understand fractions and also equivalent fractions. Allows students to use fruit loops to manipulate the fractions into different groups and also record on the activity sheet.
Uses higher thinking words (translation, rotation, refelection) but could be easily made to relplace with slide, flip turn. Has a 4.0 (bonus) question as well. Has students DRAW what the shape should look like, not just identify. Great for a quiz, review, or morning work.
Fractions and equivalent fractions. GREAT to give to see where students are and what they already know, or as a quiz after you teach it! Spaces left blank so you can put in your own fractions!
This is another worksheet similar to one previously for sale in my shop! It is very similar, but has different problems!
This is a quiz on shapes. Defining the shape and having to draw what it looks like. Comes with a rubric to easily grade.

Teaching style
With my experience in teaching, I have had to learn to make most learning hands on or manipulative based. Students learn best when they do, or giving THEM the opportunity to teach it to others!
