This telling time mini-book is a great addition to your time unit. Students can create a personal connection with this concept by creating a personal book about time. I make 2 copies of each page. Then I run all 6 pages through the copier and book staple the packet. After that I use a paper cutter to cut the booklets in half. Then pass out to your students. This activity sheet makes a great work station and is aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will choose dominoes and fit with the correct sum. Then they will write the fact for each sum. This activity can be done in small groups, individually or with partners.

This graph accompanies the Candy Hearts Sorting sheet. Instead of real candy hearts, we punched out paper hearts and turned them into conversation hearts ourselves. (We have students with lots of food allergies and cannot serve food.)
