Why Edify

This activity can be used as part of a unit on Immigration. Students take on the role of an immigrant and reflect on what they would be to their new country if they had a limited amount of space. It's a good activity to promote multiple perspectives.

It consists of guided notes and short answer questions that accompany two videos on the topic. The third sheet contains the links to the videos and basic directions. Once folded, these notes fit nicely into a science notebook.

This learning menu is a great way to differentiate instruction in a science class where students are studying energy concepts. Allow students to learn important energy concepts creating products that are suited to their varied learning styles.
