About the store
This is my 5th year of teaching in Orlando, Florida. My first three years were spent working with children with behavioral disabilities. Last year, I switched to Kindergarten and feel that I have found my true calling!! I attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN and majored in Advertising/Public Relations. I was blessed to find out that I was able to teach even though I did not graduate in this field. I was given the amazing honor of being Rookie Teacher of the Year and Star Teacher of the Year my first year of teaching. I am also very active in helping ESOL students in after school tutoring and helping 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students prepare for the FCAT on Saturday mornings.

Teaching style

My teaching is very visual and hands on. I like to share real life experiences so that the kids can make connections of their own. I love using technology, but believe that the use of old school techniques are just as important.
