This student booklet covers the properties of air:
- Air is a fluid,
- Air exerts pressure,
- Air takes up space,
- Air has mass,
- Air can be compressed,
- Air reacts to temperature.
For each property, an experiment is required. I found several experiments online through a google search.
The teacher can demonstrate the experiments for each property, or students can engage in the experiments on their own.
Enjoy!

A literature circle is a small group instructional approach to support reading development. During a book study, students are assigned one job at the end of each chapter: interrogator, stellar summarizer, word wizard, illustrator, or connection maker. Literature circles run themselves when time is taken to set them up. This document outlines the 5 roles students will take on during their book study.
