This graphic organizer allows students to jot down brief notes for their informative essay. Students can put their hook and topic in the introduction box, subtopics about each topic in the three middle boxes with brief details about each subtopic and evidence from a source, and finally sum up their topic and leave their readers with something to think about in the conclusion box.

This resource connects with CCSS L.6.1. Students are tested on identifying the pronoun, choosing the correct pronoun to complete the sentence, finding the incorrect pronoun in the sentence and replacing it with the correct one, and writing a sentence using the type of pronoun in each section. The pronouns covered in this assessment include subjective, possessive, and objective pronouns. Students are also assessed on their knowledge of vague pronouns and antecedents. Answer key included.
