My students participate in RBT every day. This is a power point I put together to help teach the importance of self-control, specifically delayed gratification. This power point is broken into two days (30min each) of activities. Day one is an introduction into instant gratification. Day two is an activity with a discussion on delayed gratification.
Print this task card on card stock and laminate. This resource is used to help provide motivation. All you need to do is create any incentive to go with this task. We bought a mini basketball shooter from the dollar store that accompanies this motivator. In top right corner of the sheet, I have left the "Rules of the Game" for our incentive. This will be left editable. Also included are small basketballs and a grid-basketball. The small basketballs are to be laminated and cut out. Put Velcro on
This item is designed to help encourage student participation in class. On the front, students punch the number of assignments completed. On the back lists the menu. This is a word document, so you will be able to modify as you see needed.
