I have taught first grade for 34 wonderful years! Creating educational materials has been so much fun and I'm thrilled to be able to share them with other teachers here on TPT!! I specialize in resources to use in a k-2 classroom. My store has MANY differentiated comprehension question sets to use with a wide variety of children's picture books and I have created writing lessons for beginning writers that can be purchased individually, in bundles or as a complete program. This simple addition dice game helps students practice addition facts (sums of 2-12), comparing 2 numbers (more / less) and counting by 2 to add. Teaching style

I want my students be excited to learn new things and to be proud of their accomplishments! My classroom is a busy, busy place! My students are encouraged to take risks and to make mistakes! When a student makes a mistake and learns something new, I always say "WOW, we just watched you get smarter!" I hope they will always feel safe enough to take risks and learn something new!

I am most proud of the relationships I've built with my students! Many of these students have grown up and are now sending their children to my classroom. It is such a delight!
