These 3rd grade math task cards make multiplying by multiples of ten fun and easy! Your third grade students will love these four engaging math games and math activities designed for third grade place value practice in a multiplication unit. Perfect for math centers, small groups, or spiral math review, this set of 4 math games helps 3rd grade students master multiplication strategies by understanding place value to multiply by 10 through hands-on practice. Both print and digital versions are included so you can use them however you need.

WHAT'S INCLUDED? (PRINT AND DIGITAL)

Game 1: Solve the Problem

Students put the popcorn in the correct basket based on their knowledge of multiplying by tens.

Game 2: Skip Counting

Students skip count by multiples of tens to find the answer.

Game 3: Peanut Butter and Jelly

Students drag the jelly on top of the peanut butter that has the correct answer to each multiplication equation.

Game 4: Multiple Choice

Students solve each multiple choice equation by choosing the correct answer. They put an arrow next to each answer.

HOW TO IMPLEMENT:

There are 11 problems included in each of the 4 games (total of 44 questions).

Digitally: The first problem is always an example for students so they know what to do. I would recommend completing 5 questions during your lesson together and assigning the other 5 for students to complete independently.

Print: Print the task cards out and put them in a math center. Have students record answers on the recording sheet provided. Students can use the self-checking answer key to check their work. You can choose between the color and black and white option.
