Description
Back to School Color by Code Math Activities for Kindergarten and First Grade is a fun way to review early mathematical concepts. The activities in this resource are a wonderful follow up and practice for subitizing numbers.
There are 8 separate activities in this resource. For four of the pages, I differentiated the activity so that it can be used easily with both kindergarten and first grade children.
The following mathematical concepts are covered:
Tally marks (Numbers from 1-10 AND 11-20),
Dice (Numbers from 1-8 AND Doubles from 2-16),
Fingers (Numbers from 0-10),
Dominoes (Numbers 0-7 AND 2-9),
5 Frames (Numbers 0-7),
10 Frames (Numbers 0-10),
Addition to 10,
Number Words (Numbers 0-11), and
2D Shapes.
Easy to prep and easy to use: just print and learn!
I have included pages with the American spelling for color and pages with the Canadian spelling for colour in this resource.
I use these activities during my mathematics centre time, for homework, and I even leave the activities in sub plans.
