Colour by Code Math Activities for Canada Day is a fun way to review mathematical concepts and to celebrate Canada's birthday!
There are 11 activity pages in this resource.
The following mathematical concepts are covered:
2D Shapes,
3D Solids,
Numeration (Colour by ones, tens, tally marks, fingers, 10 frames, dice, dominoes, and number words),
Addition and Subtraction (under 10),
Addition and Subtraction (under 20), and
Odd and even numbers.
There is a sheet celebrating Canada’s birthday using the words and numbers (Canada, 1867, birthday, July 1st).
Easy to prep and easy to use: just print and learn!
I use these activities during my mathematics centre time, for homework, and I even leave the activities in sub plans.
