This is a set of notes to use when teaching about building purpose and simple building designs. Includes instructions to design and carry out a simple popsicle stick tower challenge and an area to record important details about the design. The activity can be used as either a partner activity or homework assignment, and the questions could be used as a summative or formative assessment. It works very well as a distance learning resource!

Since it is in Google Doc format, you could even assign it to students on Google Classroom and have them complete it online. Completely editable to suit your needs!
