Description
If you teach fourth grade math, this is EVERYTHING you need to teach addition & subtraction, and cover the Common Core standards! This set was designed so you would have a complete unit. The presentation is so easy to follow that a substitute could even teach new content if you were unexpectedly absent!
Also, this is a great way to help enrich your high-flying third graders, or help reinforce concepts for fifth graders. The presentation could be self-guided when needed!

There are two main topics and two review topics for this Addition/Subtraction unit!
*Addition Properties (review of Commutative/Associative)
*Addition Algorithm (Carrying Over - What does it mean?)
*Subtraction Algorithm (Borrowing - What does it mean?)
*Estimation in Addition/Subtraction
(Review of Word Problem vocabulary for +/- and assessment included as well!)
