Description
These STEM-themed Boom cards are a great way for students to practice comparing decimal fractions. An Instruction Slide is included to help them remember how to compare fractions.
There are 9 word problems based on traditional STEM activities (catapults, simple structures and balloon-powered cars). There are 3 problems for each scenario, reflecting three different trials and reinforcing the Engineering Design Process.
This deck also includes 4 drag and drop Number Line problems and 5 Fill-in-the-blank problems that students must justify using models. The rigor is high, and the variety of the problems will engage learners! Plus, Boom cards are interactive with sounds and images - so much fun!
They are also versatile! You can assign them through your Google Classroom easily (click here to learn more about that!). They also work in See Saw! Boom cards are awesome for:
1. Asynchronous Learning
2. Centers
3. Differentiation
4. Small groups
5. Whole class
6. Distance Learning
