Description
These 4 sets of 20 coordinating task cards {80 cards} are great for applying the skill of subtracting decimals up to the hundredths place. This set of cards makes differentiation easy and discreet in your classroom. Each set looks similar and is working with the same subtraction problems, just presented in a different format.
The computation is presented in varying levels of difficultly - some with no regrouping, regrouping over the decimal, and subtracting numbers with different amounts of digits, requiring students to think about lining up the decimals.
Included in this set are 4 types of related task cards:
- 20 single step word problems
- a modified version using the same word problems with key words bolded and highlighted
- a computation only set with just the subtraction problems from the word problems - these are written horizontally to ensure student understanding of lining up decimals
- a computation only set written vertically for students who struggle with lining up decimals
- 3 types of answer sheets with differentiated directions, each with a corresponding answer key
