Distributing and combining like terms is more engaging when there's color involved! This resource now has FOUR print versions and 1 digital version.
Students simplify 15 or 20 expressions, self-check and then color, in both print and digital versions.

Problems in this math color by number require students to:
- Simplify expressions (some with negatives)
- Use the distributive property
- Combine like terms
This easy-prep distribute and combine like terms resource includes:
1) FOUR print versions
Print version A
- Problem sheet with 20 questions
- Coloring sheet
Print version B
- Problem sheet with 20 questions (SAME questions as Version A)
- Different coloring sheet – less complex pattern
Print version C
- Problem sheet with 15 questions (less challenging than Version A & B)
- Coloring sheet – same pattern as Version A but different color scheme
Print version D
- Problem sheet with 15 questions (SAME questions as Version C)
- Coloring sheet (same pattern as Version B but different colors)
2) One digital version:
- Same problems and same coloring as print version
- Students type their answers in the answer box
- Students use the ‘Fill color’ bucket to color the shapes
- Questions are not editable (they are in the background) but the shapes and numbers in the pattern ARE movable.

4) Two coloring page with no numbers, so students can color for fun, create their own color by numbers, or for you to create your own color by number activities for your classes.
