Egg Puzzles: Division Facts

In this Easter division game, there are twelve division puzzles included. Each puzzle has three pieces. Print the puzzles four times on four different colored papers. That way, students can race each other to see who can put all of their puzzles together first! Or, let students work together collaboratively to put together all 12 puzzles in this spring division game! Aligns with 3.OA.7.

Line Them Up: Distributive Property of Multiplication

In this Easter distributive property game, students split into two teams. Each team finds their start card. Students find the answer to the card and line it up under the previous card. The first team to line up all their cards in the correct order is the winner! Students are given the same cards but in a different order so the two teams can play fairly. This version of line them up has students practice finding the equations that match up with the distributive property of multiplication (example: 19x4=(10x4)+(9x4)). Aligns with 3.OA.5.

Math Spoons: Capacity and Mass

Students play the game of Spoons, except with a math twist! Each child gets four cards and the rest of the cards go into a pile next to the first player. Three spoons (or whatever object you'd like) go in the middle. Student 1 picks up the first card and sees if it can help them get four of a kind. If not, they pass it to the next person. The first student to get four of a kind wins! More pictures and step by step directions in the preview! Aligns with 3.MD.2. Perfect Easter capacity and mass game.

Earth Day Game: Measure to the Nearest ΒΌ Inch

In this Earth Day measurement game, students put out each of the recycling bins. All of the question cards are put in the middle. Items are split up between each player. Each time a student answers a question card, they get to recycle one of their items. First person to recycle all of their items wins! More pictures in the preview! Aligns with 3.MD.4.

Grab It: Telling Time

In this In this Easter telling time game, students lay out all circle clock cards in front of them. Students split up the rectangle cards between them. Each player flips over a rectangle card that has a time on it and looks at the circle cards for the matching answer. The first person to grab their matching answer wins the round and gets to keep the circle. The person with the most circles at the end of the game wins! Aligns with 3.MD.1.

Hungry for Peeps: Equivalent Fractions

This Easter equivalent fractions game is full of mouths and peeps! :) Students spread out all of the mouths with fractions in front of them. Each peep has an equivalent fraction to one of the mouths on it. Place each peep on the equivalent fraction it matches with. Aligns with 3.NF.3.

Easter Egg Collector: Comparing Fractions

Each child playing gets an Easter Egg basket in this Easter comparing fractions game. All of the eggs are placed in the middle. Each child tries to find the eggs that go in their basket before the other kids in their group! Students practice comparing fractions while also playing a fun game! Aligns with 3.NF.3.

QR Codes: Identifying Fractions

Students identify the fraction on each card in this Easter fractions game. When they figure out the answer (example: 1/2), they scan the QR code on the card and will be given a alphabet letter. Students find 1/2 on the Mystery Phrase sheet and fill in the corresponding letter. After all cards have been answered, the Mystery Phrase will reveal a secret phrase to students. There are three mystery phrases included in this pack! Aligns with 3.NF.1.

Bunny Plots: Line Plots

In this Easter line plot game, students have to make a tally chart of all of the bunny heights. Once this is complete, the students have to create a line plot of their data using the graphing sheet. This is a great way for students to practice creating line plots and the measurement standards. Aligns with 3.MD.4.

April Fools: Rectilinear Area

This is an April Fool's rectilinear area game that helps students practice area! Each time a student answers a question card on rectilinear area, students get to roll dice and move forward on the game board. They may also choose to take a chance card from the middle. The chance card can help or hurt their chances of winning and spices things up! Aligns with 3.MD.7.

These games can be used for elementary children as a worksheet alternative, game printables, math stations, center rotations, math centers, in guided math, as enrichment or remediation, in small groups, as test prep, homework practice (take what you don’t finish home for homework), and so much more! These engaging math activities are made to be flexible so you can use them however you’d like in your classroom.

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
