Description
A set of 22 worksheets and a quiz on graphs, designed for fourth grade level. Focuses on tally charts & frequency tables (including cumulative frequency), pictographs, line plots, stem-and-leaf plots, bar graphs, double-bar graphs, and line graphs (including using an interval of 2, 5, or 10), with particular emphasis on creating graphs and choosing the appropriate graph for a set of data. Shares many questions with the fifth grade set, but doesn't teach histograms, circle graphs, double-line graphs, or Venn diagrams, whereas the fifth grade set does.
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created this to use with my tutoring students; if they're having difficulty creating various types of graphs or choosing the best graph for a set of data, these worksheets always give them the practice they need to become successful with them!
