Combining like terms tends to be a tricky skill for students to grasp. This hands-on game is a favorite in my classroom and requested all throughout the year by my students! The goal of the game is to match like terms until someone has played the final card in their hand. When playing, I have my kids verbally say what the like term would become before putting their card down.
