Hand washing posters, hand washing song, a social story book, paper towel visuals, and soap visuals help teach and cue students to wash their hands to stay healthy. At the beginning of the year, after breaks, and when students get sick, reteach and review hand washing. This social story explains why it is important to wash their hands, when to wash their hands, and the steps to wash their hands.
-Hand Washing Song: Students hardly ever wash their hands long enough. Students can sing this song as they wash their hands. Send a copy of the song home with students and post it in the bathroom, too! There are two versions of the song included.
-Hand Washing Routine Poster: There are FOUR hand washing routine posters to choose from. Three posters you can just print and post. The other poster you can make so students are able to take the parts of the routine on and off. Post in your bathroom by the sink.
-Paper Towel & Soap Visuals: Place on a paper towel dispenser, hand sanitizer, and/or a soap dispenser for a visual cue to remind students to only use 2 squirts or 2 paper towels. Now includes options for 1 squirt of soap, 1 paper towel, 3 squirts of soap, 3 paper towels
-Sending it Home with Students: Make students who need extra support their OWN book to take home. They can read it at home with their family, too. This has been designed for a preschool, pre-k, or kindergarten classroom.
