Description

Students will make meaningful connections to fractions by partitioning shapes, defining fractions on a number line, comparing fractions, and exploring equivalent fractions. Interactive math journals are a great way to explore fractions in a hands-on way.

This resource is aligned to all Common Core State Standards in the Fractions domain for 3rd grade. I have also included pages for adding fractions with like denominators.

  • Equal and unequal parts sorting (2 pages)
  • Fractions on a number line (2 pages)
