Included in the section on simple life cycles are: duck, fish, human beings and sheep. Before hatching and before birth are shown and included in task cards. In comparing the salmon life cycle to the human life cycle, the egg stage of salmon and fetus stage of humans are correlated. I have consulted a post-secondary professor of science and medicine for accuracy and information communicated in this product.

Compliment with your favorite books and texts on non-fiction, life cycle reading. Create a wall chart of animals and critters where the young/offspring look like their parents (simple or non-metamorphic) and where the insects/frogs go through metamorphosis.
