Description

WARNING: This activity is CHALLENGING (but in a good way)!

If you’re looking for an engaging, hands-on activity that will challenge your students, while developing number sense, critical thinking skills, and perseverance, then THIS is exactly what you need!! Students must place the digits, 0 - 9, into a set of equations making each one true. Each digit can only be used one time, so it’s not nearly as easy as it looks and will require some serious determination and problem-solving skills!

This is the printable version of my Order of Operations Number Tiles Activity for Google Drive. Click HERE to view the digital version.

What's Included?

  • 10 different task cards (5 problems on each)
  • Number tiles to print and cut-out
  • Optional student recording sheets
  • Complete answer key

Differentiate:

The level of difficulty increases as you move from task card #1 (easiest) to task card #10 (most difficult), so you can easily differentiate to meet your students’ needs.

Mathematical concepts covered in THIS download:

• Order of Operations with Positive Integers

• Order of Operations - Positive Integers with Parentheses

• Order of Operation - Positive Integers with Exponents

• Order of Operations with Negative Integers

• Order of Operations with Negative Integers, Parentheses, and Exponents
