Description
This set of notes and worksheets can be used to introduce or review how to set up and solve equations to find a missing value, using pairs complementary, supplementary, vertical, or adjacent angles.
Included in this set:
1. A page of notes in which students learn to identify the angle and describe the important properties that help them set up an equation to determine a missing value.
2. A practice worksheet with six problems.
3. A half-sheet exit slip, which can be used as a formative assessment or assigned for homework.
NOTE: The equations in this lesson are all 2-step equations. They do not involve variables on both sides of the equation. They DO involve rational numbers (fractions and negative integers).
Answer keys and more detailed directions for use included!

This is a well organized guided notes activity. Great reference tool for my students during out geometry unit.
I used this resource in two of my classrooms last year and it was extremely helpful to them. In 7th Grade, I used this to start the lesson about angle pair relationships and in 8th, I used it as a review. In both instances, it was a great resource for students to reference back to when they needed it.
Great supplemental resource! It provided a new and engaging way to practice the standard!
This is a great resource! The students were very engaged.
Our EL population loved this resource - extremely easy to use.
