In this resource you will find step-by-step directions for each and every part of the writing process from choosing a topic, drafting the steps, editing and reviewing the writing, adding visual supports, to publishing your book.
When using this resource you will have explicit step-by-step directions and examples for each and every step of the process. You will also find resources you can use (such as questions to think about, graphic organizers to ensure conventions, and a planner) as well as templates you can use for writing the draft and templates for the finished book.
The steps for composing a ”How To” book are:
- Choose a topic
- Think of the steps
- Draft each step
- Add visual supports
- Make a cover
- Optional: Add your opinion
- Publish
