I never want to graduate from eighth grade! I have been teaching in middle school for 18 years and can't imagine anyplace else I would like to be. I have been teaching Social Studies (ancient history, geography, American history and government) for over a decade but have been blessed with experiences in language arts and math. I began my career in education as a special educator and this has given me the unique outlook and opportunity to look at every assignment as an opportunity to engage a learner.
I love my classroom to be active and full of exploration! Look at my website to see all the ways I love to engage! www.toengagethemall.blogspot.com

I am blessed with a wonderful husband who is not only a partner in crime but a partner in career as well... he's a math teacher! I have a brilliant and funny 9 year old, a force of nature 4 year old and a dog that is a pain when the kids are awake but is my love when we are cuddling in bed.
