Six cartoon students that are used with the story from The Deep Well of Time by Michael Dorer. Montessori lesson about Convergent, Divergent and Parallel lines using the stick box. Three part story of three types of relationships between friends (lines). Included: 3 images of a boy and girl who are happy, neutral, and unhappy in a single PDF file. Halloween Jack o' Lantern Art
This fun, hands-on project demonstrates positive and negative space art and symmetry. Symmetry is when two halves of an object or image have a balanced similarity. One half of the image is the mirror image of the other half. The human face is an example of symmetry: each half has an eye, ½ of a nose and ½ of a mouth. Coin Values: Counting by Sight and Touch
This is a fun project for helping students learn the value of coins. My students enjoyed sliding their fingers from the coin to the end of the ribbon or string while counting the number of attachments to the coin which in turn, helped them learn the value of different coins.
