I have typed nine real life scenarios for students solve division problems. The stories are coded with graphics to help coordinate their record sheet. I use manipulatives at each station to aide include tactile learners. Manipulatives can be placed in a plastic bag. For example at the station in which balloons are being divided, balloons can be placed in a bag. This lesson is very engaging and fun. I use it in my 3rd grade class but it could also be used for 2nd or 4th.

This is a resource that can be used for practicing the Distributive Property of Multiplication. It works best if you laminate and use dry erase markers. How it works: Give your students a multiplication problem. Using the Cookie Crisp Cereal, they create an array on the cookie sheet.
