Building a kaleidoscope is a fun activity that complements the unit on light and waves. A kaleidoscope demonstrates the principle of multiple reflections. I used reflective paper instead of mirrors to avoid potential accidents in my project, and it worked very well. Just make sure to fold the paper into an equilateral triangular prism shape.
