Special Education Working File Checklist
This document is a working file checklist for special education teachers. This tool can help you keep track of what legally needs to be kept in each special education student's working file. A working file is where documentation of progress, assessments, parent contacts and the students' IEPs are kept. This is great to send home with a student to talk about what activities they did in speech therapy to start a conversation at home. The child can point or talk and they can circle, use stickers, or a stamper! Or- the therapist can work on this at the end of the session to hand to the caretaker to also prompt for more conversation at home.

Goal Summary Sheet at a Glance
This is a form that I use to write a brief description of the goals for each student in a classroom. I then either put it in a transparent holder or laminate to take with me into the classroom. I can glance at it quickly while I am working with students or I can also use it with our educational assistants. They love to use this to look at how they can incorporate the speech language goals everyday and often write anecdotal notes for data tracking.

Ling Six Sound Check!
Listening checks are super important amongst children that are deaf and hard of hearing! The Ling 6 Sound Check targets different sounds that fall within all frequency ranges. This can help to determine what sounds the child is able to hear and not hear, and can also determine whether the child's hearing equipment is working properly or is not. This is a great tool to use at the beginning of the school day and/or the beginning of 1 on 1 / small group sessions.
