This is a great addition for journals if you will be working with Common Core next year. A journal is great way of documenting work with Common Core. These cane be placed in any subject area journal. This is an excellent resource I had my students place in their journals at the beginning of the school year. During counseling session or teacher conference, if the student is struggling with note taking and is not prepared for class, quizzes, and tests, I suggest handing the Study Notes document to the student and requesting detailed notes be taken during class.
