Portfolio Marking Rubric
Use this rubric to collaboratively mark student work portfolios. The rubric offers students an opportunity to reflect on the work they are submitting and teachers the opportunity to comment on the portfolio.

Preschool Readiness Rubric
I use this rubric for parent conferences to show progress throughout the school year. I highlight in a different color for each semester so parents can see their child's progress from the beginning of the year until the end. I then add up the total points and then average the class so I can compare and give parent's an idea of where their child is in comparison to their peers.

Reading workshop log rubric
This is a 4-point rubric for grading reading workshop logs. It considers neatness, completeness, conventions, and appropriate book selection. Students would have a copy of this in their reading workshop folders so they could refer to it as they complete their logs, or so they could check over their logs and make revisions before they submit them.

Color Coded Organizational Grouping Chart
This spreadsheet has ten sheets. There are instructions, then there are four sheets for four different sections, or classes of students. The last five pages are designed to print and give to students. They are mini schedules to remind students which group to report to on any given day. I have used it and it REALLY helps me keep classes, students, and student groups straight. I used fruit and veggies to name the groups. Dr. Seuss Project & Rubrics
In honor of Dr. Seuss and Read Across America, this is a research project that includes a research paper based on information found on Dr. Seuss along with background information of one of his famous children's books. There is an assignment sheet included, a rubric for the student's research paper and presentation as well as a peer evaluation form for students to fill out while watching their classmates present.

I have used this for years in my classroom as a weekly communication between school and home. I send it home each week to inform parents on their child's performance in several academic and behavioral areas. Personal Interactions Rubric
Use this rubric to target carryover and have your student asses themselves on their own conversations outside of the therapy setting! What an easy way to track your students carryover progress without rearranging your schedule to observe. One way I have used this with my own students is to have them fill out it once a week and return to therapy. I would give them a new rubric and they would then repeat the process. You can have them fill out the rubric as many or as few times as you would like.

Centers Grade Rubric
This rubric includes: I was on task at all times, I completed an acceptable amount of work in the time provided, I completed my work to my best ability, I worked well with my partners. 1-5 scale to give a total out of 20. In Microsoft Word so that it is EDITABLE. I use it for reading centers but it could be used for centers in any subject. The document is there twice so you set it to print 2 on each page to save paper. It is large enough to read when this is done.
