On this AR Reading Log there is a place for them to write the Book Title and Author's Last Name. They are to check off when they have read it 2x's and when they took a test. After they take an AR quiz, they then fill out how many points they earned, their percent, and have their parents inital their reading log.

This sheet will allow you to track all of your AIMS data in reading whether it be for benchmarking purposes or progress monitoring. I have my students log their own data each time we take a new test. This seems to give them more ownership of their scores and allows them to see their increase or decrease.

Cards are punched with a hole punch for every 100 a student makes on an AR quiz. Every three punches the student is bumped up a point level in AR. Student is awarded when they reach 10, 100's. Cards can be printed on card stock and laminated for durability. These are great incentives for students to do well in Accelerated Reader. Animal logo is a frog. Teacher's name can be added in case students lose their cards.
