This is an easy to use form where student answer daily bell ringer questions. Each day, I post a question on the board for students to answer as they enter the room. Science Safety Tracking Device
Make students accountable! This is a tracking device for student use. It is based off of TEA Resource System IFDs and TEKS. It was created for 8th grade use but could be adapted for other grade levels. In class, we give them a brief pre-test to determine their area for "before". As we go through the unit, the students highlight what they have learned. About halfway through the unit, we stamp their "during" based on what they have highlighted. I use this as a formative assessment, communication, check-in, and feedback tool. I get to give my students meaningful feedback each day. As I'm scoring, I write down names of students that can share their answer and give students the opportunity to listen and correct their page if they need to.
