This activity is a great way to tie in simple interest and percents into the real world. I told my students to look up cars that were actually for sale. I even named local businesses to research. The students had to save the actual picture of the vehicle and use the actual sale price. If time permits, you can have them present. This was a really eye-opening project for most students.
