This activity is a culminating project for when students have a good grasp on elapsed time. Sometimes I do it the day before the quiz and sometimes I do it afterward in small group, depending on my schedule. Students plan out five events that would make up their "perfect day". They include the start time, end time, and elapsed time of each event. There is a 5 point rubric at the end with movable check marks for teachers to grade with!
