Challenge your students to "do the math" that results in the numbers 1 - 90, but using only four-fours with operational symbols in between. The problems are set up for you in chart form for ease of reference. This is a great enrichment activity for students who finish their regular classwork and need a challenge to work on. Mental math using applied mathematical principles useful particularly for those taking the timed math section on the ACT or SAT.
