FOIL and Factoring Introduction PPT
An introductory PowerPoint presentation that has students review FOILing binomials, then goes into factoring trinomials where a = 1. All embedded examples are fully explained and include a completed t-chart with factors that multiply to "c" and add to "b" so students are trained in this thinking early on. Classwork assignment is from the free online KUTA worksheet "factoring trinomials" which is a great assignment to use in conjunction with this lesson.
