Gifted Ed Project with Pascal's Triangle
After the students have discovered the pattern of Pascal's Triangle and have constructed their own, we look at patterns within the triangle. Student's will gain practice with prime factorization, multiples, sums, using exponents, raising numbers to a power, etc. They will each choose a pattern to research and teach to their classmates in the second piece of this unit.
I love to watch as they begin to see the patterns unfold. It feels like we're doing magic, but it's math!
