Multiplication chart emphasized with colors for the zeroes, tens and doubles. I can never remember where to find the multiplication chart when I need one, so I made one to print out and laminate for each of my students. Does anyone else have this challenge?

Multiplication Table
Color-coded multiplication table First, find the numbers you need to multiply. Then find the square where the two numbers meet (as if you drew two imaginary lines). For example, 8*9 =72, if you drew two straight lines both numbers would meet at 72!

Geometry Garden Mini-Project
In this project, students will design a geometric garden, calculate area and perimeter of each of the shapes in their garden, and then decide what they will put in their garden, and cost it all out using the internet or sheets you have printed off from the internet, and/or local sale papers. Depending on their level, they may calculate volume as well (if they decide to use mulch, gravel or other bedding at a certain thickness. Multiplication Fluency Student Tracking Sheet
This is a tracking sheet created for students to track their own progress in multiplication fluency. Students can color in the boxes of skills they have mastered and there is room for them to write the date of mastery. I have created it as two pages on one sheet to save paper. It was created to be used in a 5th grade math classroom in conjunction with the common core fluency requirements, but it can be used for other grades because it is very general. Mental Math - Are You Up To The Task?
Mental math using applied mathematical principles useful particularly for those taking the timed math section on the ACT or SAT. These and many other two- or three-digit numbers can easily be multiplied together using these strategies. Word Problems Guided Response with Problems
This 11 page packet revolves around word problems. As teachers we all know the pivotal role that word problems play in the lives of students, since it answers the ubiquitous question, When am I ever going to need this? But word problems can be quite challenging especially at an upper elementary level, so I have put together a packet that will help students in grades 4-6 tackle word problems in an easier manner.

Unit 1 Integers Guided Notes
These Guided Notes include: Additive Inverse, Absolute Value Expressions, Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Integers.
