This was a quick menu I made in order to practice money and problem solving with my resource students in grades 4 and 5. Students were able to count, add, and subtract money in order to determine how to purchase products off of the McD's menu. Students who struggled with reading could additionally point to the pictures attached to the menu to help describe what they wanted to purchase.

Activity/worksheet can be used with any Menu. Students will choose a menu items for a meal and use estimation to see if $20 is enough to pay for the meal. Students will then add the prices to calculate the cost of the meal and change to be received.

Using this form, students can fill out an order for a local Chinese Restaurant. I have asked my local restaurant for copies of their menu, and they were happy to give me a class set. This activity helps students, fill out a chart, read a menu, add and multiply decimals, and as an optional extension you could discuss sales tax.
