Binary Math
This handout is used to help the students convert Binary Code into Base 2 numbers. 0's mean off, 1's mean on. Instead of using Base 10, teach the students base 2, convert, and perform the functions. This is the final product after a study of Binary Code and Base 2.
There are quite a few lessons online with Binary and Base 2, but I created this to go with what I found online.

Teaching Strategies GOLD Math Assessment
This assessment is aligned with the My Teaching Strategies objectives and rubrics. I use colored counters for object counting and pattern sections. I have color-coded it as follows:
54-60 (90-100%) = Blue (Above Grade Level)
48-53 (80-89%) = Green (At Grade Level)
