Comparing Linear, Quadratic, Exponential Regressions w/Spreadsheets
This project incorporates spreadsheets with scatter plots and lines of best fit. It asked students to perform various regressions, such as linear, power, exponential, and logarithmic, The students are asked to generate an model to help park rangers determine the weight of black bears by using only one of three measures, neck girth, length, and chest girth. Calculating the bears weights allow the rangers to anesthetize them in order for them to care for the bears. The r values in this project

Excel Data Analysis Project
This mini Project covers the concepts of scatterplots and linear regression lines using data analysis in Excel. The project introduces the concepts of scatterplots and lines of best fit, has students work through a basic analysis of a data set using Excel, then has students complete a more complex analysis of a baseball data set. Students will pick a stock to research the tendencies over the previous six months. They will analyze the trends, the central tendencies, and predict the stock's future worth based off of that data.
There is an excel spreadsheet to input the data for the stock, which will then create a graph for the student from its data. The student will need to then adjust the graph to their needs however.
