Probability Project to Parallel a Probability Chapter
This project is designed for a probability chapter for an Integrated Algebra class, accoridng to NY state standards. This project includes empirical studies, theoretical studies, combinational probability, compliments of probability, and some permutations and combinations. In addition, there is a final analysis section that combines the assignments of students into a final assignment of 1-2 pages.

Comparing Linear, Quadratic, Exponential Regressions w/Spreadsheets
This project incorporates spreadsheets with scatter plots and lines of best fit. It asked students to perform various regressions, such as linear, power, exponential, and logarithmic, The students are asked to generate an model to help park rangers determine the weight of black bears by using only one of three measures, neck girth, length, and chest girth. Excel Data Analysis Project
This mini Project covers the concepts of scatterplots and linear regression lines using data analysis in Excel. Predicting the 45th Presidential Election
As a math teacher, I try to take any and every opportunity to incorporate real-world applications and events into my teaching - but same days it's harder than others.
With the election rapidly approaching, I figured it would be the perfect time for a data and statistics lesson in my PAP Algebra 1 class. This lesson also meets 6th, 7th, and 8th grade standards, so don't shy away if you're not an Algebra 1 teacher. It is definitely adaptable.
